At Sophisticated Elite Dance Academy Dance Studio, we believe that dance is an expression of joy and freedom. Our experienced and passionate instructors are dedicated to helping our students discover the joy of movement and express themselves through dance. We offer a variety of classes for dancers of all ages and skill levels, including majorette, ballet, jazz, contemporary, and more. From our youngest students to our most advanced, we strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone can thrive. Come dance with us and experience the joy of movement!

Majorette Team Information
Level 3 students are performing and competition students.
Level 2 ( apprentice 3) students who made the competition teams are performing and competition students. These dancers will have the opportunity to dance with level 3.
Level 2 students who made the competition teams are performing and competition students.
Level 1 students who didn’t make the competition team are standard parade performers. They will learn the fundamentals of dance and majorette.
We offer a standard and competition program.
All new team members must download the Band app with your child‘s picture on the profile. All older students can join the Band along with one parent. Follow the instructions below in the next sections. You will be accepted in the group once the staff is available. All parents will get details on the camp dates and times. All parents will get information about uniforms and anything related to the team. We will communicate fully on the Band.
Summer Camp is $300. Summer camp is between 3-5 days and it’s mandatory to be apart of the team.

Dr. Erica has been trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, lyrical, HBCU style and battle style Majorette, Contemporary, Modeling, and Cheerleading. She grow up dancing in all of these different genre. She has worked with a NBA dance/ cheer team doing choreography. Dr. Erica has worked with many coaches from the hit TV show Bring IT! She also is a medical doctor and has a business background. She loves working with children and adults. This will let her pass her knowledge onto her students of all ages through creativity and passion for the love of dance, and laying out a practical foundation and empowering individuals with knowledge of life skills. She has over 30 years of dance experience. She has 20 years of teaching stunt training in Majorette and Cheer. She has taught many children and teams in different states. For many years, she has worked with many schools, teams, and church dance ministries. She has also talked with many youth about life decisions. Dr. Erica has been a mentor for many children. She believes in inspiring young people to make good decisions. She had the opportunity to choreograph for many dance teams. However, Dr. Erica in the past has volunteered teaching dance classes in the Metro Atlanta area on her free time.

As a resident of Duluth, Georgia for more than 40 years, Miriam is an active member of her community in multiple facets. Her work in property management for 30 years prepared her well for a career in Real Estate. Miriam is a sough-after Realtor, praised by her clients for her commitment and knowledge of the North Atlanta area. A talented violinist, Miriam performs in the Duluth First Baptist Orchestra, and sat on the board of the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra from 2005-2008. Miriam coached her daughter for 15 years in violin before she was accepted into the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. She is a valuable resource to parents committed to their children’s success.

Pastoring for 38 years and presently in the process of building its first academy for K through 5's. Founder of Youth for Youth Coalition, a program that focus on helping youths that are in street gangs offering them a better way of making a positive choice. He is also a retired Sheriff.

Dr. Amy grow up doing dance and has a passion for young kids. Dr. Amy is also a medical doctor. Dr. Amy and Dr. Erica has traveled throughout the US hosting dance clinics for less fortunate children and adult. Dr. Amy spends her off time with family and friend.
